Meenakshi Manikandan
Meenakshi “Meena” Manikandan is a sophomore at UCSC. She enjoys coding and is passionate about computer science, in general. She is proficient in JAVA, Python, and Unix/Linux shell scripting. Towards giving back to the community, she has published several Android apps in the google play store. Ecode is Meena’s vision to share the happiness that she experienced while coding, with kids who need direction but are underprivileged. Apart from coding, she has several other hobbies such as Carnatic Music (Vocal), martial arts Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Yoga.
Treasurer: Varshetha SenthilKumar
Varshetha Senthilkumar is a board member and treasurer at Ecode Inc. She is an athletic young girl who also has interest in coding. She was born in India and has an amazing brother, and two wonderful parents. She loves playing tennis and hopes to reach the pro-level. Other than sports she also enjoys art and yoga. Art lets her peaceful and calm while allowing her to be creative. Yoga helps her stay healthy and stronger as needed for tennis. She encourages others to practice yoga as it can help in more than one ways. She strives to help others, and by taking part in this company she is able to achieve that. She is a quick learner and can get her work done quickly and efficiently.
SeCretary: Sophia WAng
Sophia Wang is a board member, secretary of Ecode inc. Interested in technology and helping the community, she was recruited as part of the team. While less versed in computer languages, she is dedicated to our team by being a quick learner. As Freshman at Purdue, Sophia likes art, in any form. Drawing, writing stories, and playing musical instruments are what keep her motivated to flourish. With the hope of expanding Ecode into more than just technology, she is helping others find happiness in what they like to do best.
