CEO:
PriYA Manikandan
Priyadharshini Manikandan is the CEO and President of Ecode, driven by a passion for uplifting communities and creating better opportunities for children facing challenges. She is deeply involved in Ecode’s educational efforts, tutoring students in English and helping them build confidence in reading, writing, and communication. She also organizes classes, coordinates schedules, recruits students, and continuously seeks dedicated tutors to support the program.
Beyond her leadership and tutoring work, Priya is a dynamic and creative individual. She enjoys expressing herself through dance and challenging herself through Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In her free time, she loves to draw, using art as a meaningful outlet to explore and communicate her emotions.
VICe PREsident: Alice HU
My name is Alice Hu. I am currently in Mission San Jose High School. I am a tutor for Beginner Python. I took python classes in X-Camp, helped tutor students in another coding camp, and have been to a coding competition. Outside of school, I like to paint, sketch, eat food, and play badminton. In my free time I enjoy playing video games. My lifelong wish is to support my parents as they grow older.
TREAsurer: FioNA SU
Fiona Su is currently a student at Mission San Jose Highschool, and is a board member (treasurer) as well as the Chief Design Officer of Ecode Inc. With interest in helping the community, she was invited to be part of the team. Aside from helping the community, Fiona also finds happiness in dancing, music and singing, as well as running, hiking, and camping.
Secretary: Jingning Zhuang
Jingning Zhuang is a freshman at Mission San Jose High School. She is a math tutor and is working to boost students’ confidence and passion in math. She has always been deeply invested in mathematics and enjoys helping others as well. Outside of school, Jingning also enjoys playing the piano and clarinet, reading, and making craft projects. She also likes to spend her weekends hiking and camping.
English tutor: DIA Saxena
Dia Saxena is an English tutor working to help students understand the ins and outs of literature. She has always had a deep passion for reading and wants to guide others to that same level of enthusiasm. Dia also enjoys combat sports, like karate and wrestling, for the rush of adrenaline and meeting talented people her age. From the countless matches and spars Dia has experienced, she learned that calming down increases her focus and concentration, helping her decide which move to do next. This concept applies in life as well, and has majorly influenced her mindset. Dia wants to help others learn about the world through careful analysis of real life topics, and tutoring is her way of giving back to the community.
Math TutoR: Roujia GUO
Roujia Guo is a ninth-grade student at Mission San Jose High School with a strong passion for mathematics and inspires others to love the subject. She is committed to helping students who struggle with math and giving back to her community. Aside from academics, Roujia is a state-winning competitive chess player, a varsity volleyball athlete, and a member of the Junior Olympics Archery Development Program with aspirations to compete internationally. Through these experiences, she has developed resilience and accountability.
Python TutoR: Reeya Rajbanshi
Reeya Rajbanshi is a freshman at Mission San Jose High School. She enjoys coding, but only after it works. She is proficient in Java and Python and hosts workshops at community picnics and libraries to spread STEM knowledge. She loves attending hackathons and working on personal projects. In her free time, she enjoys robotics, karate, and spending time with friends.
